21 Fun Ways to Use a LEGO® Compatible Light Switch Cover
A light switch is the one thing in every room that everybody touches every day. So why is it still a plain beige rectangle? 1. The minifigure welcome committee
Line up a row of minifigures along the top of the switch plate so they "greet" everyone who walks in. Swap the crew whenever a new set comes home. It's the easiest kids' room decor refresh there is.
2. Where's the minifig? (a daily hide-and-seek game)
Give every light switch and outlet cover in the house a brick plate, then move one minifigure to a new plate each night. Kids hunt for it in the morning. It's like an elf on the shelf that never runs out of hiding spots, and it works all year.
3. Build of the month
Pick a theme on the first of the month (space, dinosaurs, castles, the ocean) and add one small build to the plate every few days. By the end of the month there's a little diorama on the wall.
4. A bedtime "lights out" routine
Let your child snap a brick on the switch plate when pajamas are on, another when teeth are brushed and one more at story time. When the row is full, it's lights out. A switch plate is right where the routine ends anyway.
5. Color matching for little builders
