Milwaukee® QUIK-LOK™ Storage: How to Hang Your Power Head and Attachments
The Milwaukee® M18 FUEL™ QUIK-LOK™ system is brilliant: one power head, a whole shed's worth of attachments. The storage problem is less brilliant. Trimmer, edger, pole saw and hedge trimmer attachments end up leaning in a corner, sliding down the wall and landing on somebody's foot. Here's how to get your whole QUIK-LOK attachment storage up on the wall, neatly, in an afternoon.
Why attachments are so hard to store
- They're long and top-heavy. The heavy end tips over when they lean against a wall.
- Standard hooks don't fit. The coupler end is round, so it slides off flat hooks and brackets.
- They multiply. Once you own the power head, it's easy to keep adding attachments.
- The heads get damaged on the floor. Trimmer line gets tangled, and blades and tines get knocked around.
The fix is to hang each attachment by its coupler, the same way it locks into the power head.
Option 1: The QUIK-LOK wall mount (screws into a stud)
Our QUIK-LOK attachment wall mount screws straight into the wall and has a cylinder that fits the attachment's coupler. Slide the attachment on and it hangs straight down, off the floor and out of the way.

Don't forget the power head
The power head needs a home too. Our M18 FUEL™ power head mount fits models 2825-20 and 3016-20 and holds the power head on the wall. It comes three ways:
- Power head mount only
- Power head mount + pole wall mount
- Power head mount + pole hook
Screws are included for every wall-mounted piece.
How to lay out a QUIK-LOK storage wall
- Find your studs with a stud finder and mark them. Wall mounts belong in studs.
- Put the power head in the middle at a comfortable grab height, with the battery charger nearby.
- Hang attachments on either side, high enough that the heavy end clears the floor.
- Leave elbow room. Hedge trimmer bars and cultivator tines are wide, so space those mounts farther apart.
- Group by season. Keep the ones you use every week (trimmer, edger) closest to the door, and the pole saw and cultivator at the far end.

Does it fit every QUIK-LOK attachment?
Yes. Both mounts are compatible with all Milwaukee® QUIK-LOK™ attachments, including string trimmer, edger, pole saw, hedge trimmer and cultivator attachments.
Will it hold up in a hot garage?
They're made from a tough, impact-resistant material that stands up to heat and UV, so they won't crack, fade or warp.
Red or black?
Red matches the tools. Black disappears on a dark wall or pegboard. Mix them to color-code: red for the attachments you use weekly, black for seasonal ones.
